The sentence on the back

“Sohase fordulj meg a golyóbis előtt, mert annak mindegy, akár elől, akár hátul megy beléd.” – Never turn around in front of a bullet, it doesn’t care if it enters you from the front or the back. Count Gyula Andrássy gave this sentence to his volunteers in 1848. Three years later, he was sentenced to death in absentia; sixteen years later, as Prime Minister, he placed the Hungarian crown on the Emperor’s head. His equestrian statue stands today right by the Parliament, which glows in the letters on the front.
