Not a game: From the track to the back
Sometimes a piece is born from a fabric, a cut, a color. This one was born from a song.
KEIN SPIEL has been out since the beginning of September. Boom bap, 90 BPM, no frills. The image within it is a game board: predefined squares, predefined rules, and everyone rolls their dice obediently. The idea that everything revolves around is the simplest one in the track — life is not a game, even if it’s sold to you as one.
That is exactly what is now on the back.
What’s on the MONO 07
Dice. Easy money. Fast cars. Everything presented as a prize if you just roll the dice correctly. And across it all, the 07 — not as a decoration, but as a strike. As a direction that doesn't stick to the board.
There’s nothing more to it, and there doesn’t need to be. You don't have to know the song to wear the piece. If you do know it, you’ll just see where it comes from.
The Shirt
MONO 07, 260 grams of combed cotton, oversized with dropped shoulders, unisex. The washed effect runs vertically through it — which means every piece turns out a little differently; no two are alike. The edges at the collar, sleeves, and hem are intentionally frayed.
Four colors: black, bordeaux, sand, smoke gray. The SUÐR lettering on the front is gray against the base tone, not white — you can read it from two meters away, not from across the street.
The Bomber
For autumn, the MONO 07 Fleece Bomber joins the collection. 400 grams of brushed fleece, soft-brushed on the inside — the heaviest piece we have ever made. Stand-up collar instead of a hood, full-length zipper, ribbed cuffs at the sleeves and hem. Bomber fit, dropped shoulders.
It is worn over nothing else. That’s not a weakness, that’s the point: T-shirt underneath, bomber on top, finished. In black and white.
How it goes together
The bomber is not the jacket for the shirt, but the second half of the same thought. In September you wear the MONO 07 alone, from October on you add the bomber — and because the stand-up collar stays open, you can still see what’s underneath at the front.
If you want to show the motif, leave the bomber open and turn around. If not, it’s simply a very heavy, very warm piece.
And the song
For those who want to know where the motif comes from: KEIN SPIEL is available on all platforms, under DaScha.
From the wall to the fabric, from the track to the back. For us, it’s the same path.
